The most curious bars in the world

You are enjoying a drink, and at a certain point you see on the window a fish swimming among a reef, or instead of waiters you are served by nurses and doctors, you could think it’s the side effect of the drinks, but don’t worry, you are just in one of the thematic bars that you can find around the world.

Some of the owners of these kinds of places are betting on getting apart from the rest with an original, friendly and fun approach, so they decide to invest time and Money creating Works out of the ordinary. Next, discover the 5 most original places to drink your favorite cocktail.

1. Red Sea Star Bar: Cheers!...underwater

In the city of Eilat, Israel, you can find Red Sea Star Bar, the first underwater bar of the world. Combines an unique view of the sea, since it’s submerged 6 meters, with an excellent menu.

It’s decoration imitates the deep sea, the seats have octopus shape, the lamps resemble jellyfish, and the floor is like beautiful sand. The construction of the complex demanded  about six thousand tons of steel and concrete.

2. Mina Club: Cheers!...but this time underground

If you don’t like being underwater, you can try being underground. The Mina Club, located in Zacatecas, Mexico, is located at 184 meters underground. It’s an abandoned mine, which later was used as a museum, and today it’s a pub in which you can have some drinks.

Reaching the depths of the earth takes about four minutes, since you have to enter using a train located at the entrance of the mine..

3. Skeleton Bar: A bar made of bones

It is located at the city of Gruyeres (Switzerland),this curious bar resembles the skeleton of a big monster. The whole atmosphere has details that follow that line, chairs and tables of bones and skulls, like the rest of the decor.

A tip: If drinking your drink feel to be inside a Alien, do not be surprised. The responsible for creating this bar was Hans Rudi Giger, designer art movie starring Sigourney Weaver.

4. Casa Pocho: A beer and three insults

- What are you going to drink sir?

- I want you to go to the #%&* bar, get me a ¡¿$@ beer, and come back as fast as hell before I break your $*#! head.

If you hear this conversation between a waiter and a customer, don’t worry, you’re probably at “Casa Pocho”… if you need to let off steam and have no one to do it, visit this bar in Spain. Here, insulting the waiter is not only possible, but it has its rewards. Those who are more creative will have a free drink.

According to its creators-some young Poles- the idea of this place is to vent and leave the stress on the bar. But beware; the waiter is also authorized to return the "kindness", albeit in a minor tone.

5. The Clinic: Make yourself a check-up!!!

Waitered by doctors and nurses, The Clinic bar has confortable hospital beds to serve the drinks to their customers. Your drink can be served in dripping bags, while wheelchairs will be your seats… you can also ask for a “shot” of whisky, if your pain is hard to calm down.

Located at Clarke Quay, on downtown Singapore, has over 2000 square meters, and some of their rooms have a design in form of pills. Are they for the most hypochondriacs?

Proposals may vary, but they have in common one slogan: Originality!!!!
